Mainstream, GLBT People welcome

This is a program of education/intervention for a young person whose alcohol or other drug use is causing problems in their lives. Participants range in age from 12 to 21 years.

The central goal of the program is to identify and change behavior before it leads to more serious problems. This program can help participants make informed decisions, but ultimately, they alone possess the power to choose.

There is a fee for the program, so please contact our office for details.

Operating since 1973, the Valley Youth House - Lehigh Valley is a twelve-bed facility for runaway, throwaway, homeless, troubled, abused, and neglected youth between the ages of 12 and 17. Youth may enter the Shelter and receive counseling and other Shelter services at any time during the day or night. While protecting children from the dangers of the street, counselors attempt to resolve the crisis that precipitated the runaway incident and obtain long term living situations for youth.
